Behind the Scenes at PrepVector – Masterclasses, Job Board & AI Webinars
From advanced coding to AI agents and causal inference—we’re rolling out new programs to help data professionals level up and lead with confidence.
👋 Hey! This is Manisha Arora from PrepVector. Welcome to the Tech Growth Series, a newsletter that aims to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and practical aspects of data science. My goal is to simplify complicated data concepts, share my perspectives on the latest trends, and share my learnings from building and leading data teams
I have been quietly working on a few exciting things at PrepVector, and I wanted to take a moment to share them with you.
If you're a data professional - whether you're aiming for your next big role, looking to strengthen your core skills, or exploring where AI is headed. What I am building is designed with YOU in mind.
Here’s a look at what’s coming up:
A Hands-On Coding Masterclass
After the SQL Challenge went viral and brought in hundreds of learners, we realized something important: there's a real hunger in the data community for sharpening coding skills in a focused, interview-ready way. So we decided to go deeper.
We're launching a coding masterclass led by Siddarth R and Sai Kumar Bysani - two technical coaches who've worked with engineers and data scientists across top companies.
This masterclass will cover four key areas every data professional should be confident in: advanced SQL techniques, data wrangling and manipulation using pandas, clear and effective data visualization using matplotlib and seaborn, and object-oriented programming in Python. It will be taught in a way that's grounded in real-world data workflows, not just textbook definitions.
Whether you’re preparing for technical interviews or trying to write better production-quality code at work, this will be a hands-on series you don’t want to miss.
A Causal Inference Workshop for Senior/Staff Data Scientists
If you’ve ever felt that A/B testing only scratches the surface of what’s possible in experimental design, you're not alone.
We’re collaborating with Banani Mohapatra, an expert in causal inference and experimentation, to host a workshop specifically for senior and staff-level data scientists. This isn’t an intro session. It’s meant for professionals who already know their way around experimentation, and want to explore advanced causal inference methods to better guide product and policy decisions.
The workshop will focus on topics like difference-in-differences, instrumental variables, and synthetic controls—methods that are increasingly being used in growth teams, marketplaces, and policy environments. You’ll also work through real industry case studies, with hands-on implementation and feedback.
If you’ve been wanting to add causal methods to your toolkit and engage with the “why” behind observed behaviors—not just the “what”—this is for you.
Stay tuned for updates!
The PrepVector Job Board (Beta Launch)
One of the biggest pain points we hear from our learners is about hiring: “Why is it so hard to find data roles where you actually work on meaningful problems?”
We’re building something new to fix that—a curated job board just for data professionals, where we surface roles in companies that actually value data science, not just hire for vanity.
Our goal is to highlight high-quality roles—most of them from companies where data is central to decision-making, not an afterthought. You won’t have to scroll through thousands of irrelevant listings. And we're adding honest filters: remote/hybrid, visa sponsorship, contract vs full-time, and more.
The best part? You’ll be able to connect directly with PrepVector alumni who are hiring—so you’re not sending your resume into a void.
We’re launching in beta, and if you want early access, stay tuned. You’ll hear from us soon.
Two New AI Webinars in Collaboration with @Maven
AI is evolving at breakneck speed, and we’ve been designing deep-dive sessions that explore not just how GenAI works, but how it’s applied to solve problems in production systems.
The first session is on AI Agent for going from Raw Data to Automated Insights, and how they’re being used to generate insights from raw data. This goes beyond prompting—think autonomous agents that connect with APIs, query databases, and generate business recommendations with minimal human intervention. We’ll walk through what’s technically possible today, how to think about agent workflows, and the kinds of tools and frameworks that enable them.
The second webinar focuses on Language Translation with GenAI—a must-attend if you're working on or interested in multilingual products. We’ll break down how GenAI handles domain-specific translation, context preservation, and fine-tuning. You'll also get an overview of the key challenges in building robust, accurate translation systems in the wild, especially across industries like customer support, e-commerce, and content generation.
We’re building all of this because we’ve seen what’s possible when data professionals have the right tools, the right support system, and the right opportunities in front of them.
At PrepVector, our mission is simple: Enable data professionals to grow faster, think deeper, and land better opportunities.
